Is that one guy in the pics with him the same guy who played young Hammond on an episode of "Stargate?" Wasn't he also on BSG at one point? It's hard for me to tell from the pics.

Under the pic it says his name is Aaron Pearl and that he had a role in Stargate, but they don't they which one. I know which episode you mean, but he doesn't look familiar. Then again, it's been awhile since I saw that ep. Hmm ...

I saw alot of similarities between Jimmy/Cas and Dean, which leads me to this new theory, based on what I saw, not any spoilers I read as I've been staying spoiler free. Watching the coming attractions only makes me believe it more. This is just my theory, and I could be way off base with it---I think Dean is going to be asked to let an angel possess him to help stop Lucifer (who may or may not possess/become Sam).

OMG, this was INTENSE!!!!!
I thought I would be a bit bored about this episode, because it was supposed to be mostly about Jimmy, but I loved even that part. It was so heartbreaking! The way he had complete faith in God, then lost it, only to get it back in the end. The actress playing his daughter - awesome!
Sam, Sam, Sam .... I didn't think the addiction would effect him that much. I figured it'd make him weaker, but this? The scene where Bobby and Dean trap him in the Panic Room ... creepy!!! I knew it would happen, but still, seeing it .... I had goosebumps!
Dean finding out ... not the way I imagined it would happen. Gross!!!
This show is giving me heartbreaks for both boys over and over again!
Did you see the preview? What Dean is saying to Sam? The next ep is going to be AWESOME!!!

What Dean is saying to Sam?
At which part?
The next ep is going to be AWESOME!!!
I think the preview was for the next 2 episodes, which, yes, not only look awesome but I think will have us all go crazy over the summer!

Oh, I thought it was just for the next one, but that's good In the preview, Dean said *** "If you walk through that door, don't come back"***! Can it get more intense?!

Yep--he was definitely channeling * John * in that clip!
I think (and I'll black it since it's about the coming attraction clip)--Dean gets fed up. He's had it, then after that he'll go to the angels and tell them he'll do whatever they want of him. Oh, geez, what if another deal is involved??? What if he tells them he'll do whatever they want if they don't hurt Sam, or something like that? Do you think Kripke would go there again? Of course, making deals is the Winchester way. Only, this time, it would be a deal with heaven instead of hell. If Dean lets an angel posses him (I remember reading after "Houses of the Holy," and alot of people were speculating about Michael the Archangel because of the pic in the hotel room. There were also posts about Dean being like him or somehow being him). So, if something like that happens, and somehow Sam becomes Lucifer, then Kripke has his brother vs brother thing, not only with Sam and Dean, but also with Lucifer, the fallen angel, and whatever one takes over Dean. My brain hurts now--I need to stop thinking.---

Good thing we can black out everything LOL
***I think you might be right about Dean being possessed by an angel. I thought the same after I saw the preview. It's definitely an option, IMO.
I also agree about Dean being fed up. He just can't take any more and it seems he's ready to give up on Sam *sniff* But of course, Dean being Dean, he'll come after Sam in the end, I'm sure of that. He's not just gonna let him walk to his death, no matter how tired he is of everything.
I still don't want Sam to be Lucifer's vessel, but I just had the thought ... what if, by giving Sam her blood, Ruby is actually preparing him for that? Maybe that has been her plan all along?***

Okay, so if Sam can just drink any old demon's blood, why does he need Ruby? ? I have to admit, the very end when Jimmy begged Cas to let his daughter go and possess him again, I teared up. There may have been alot of Jimmy in this, but I think it really showed the talent that Misha Collins is. Jared, Jensen, and Misha together are a triple threat. Can you imagine what it would be like if they ever got JDM back?

It would be like dying and be in heaven having all four of them on screen AT THE SAME TIME! Yes, Misha really did an outstanding job. I'm already looking forward seeing more of him on other shows/movies. I hope his career is going well! Okay, so if Sam can just drink any old demon's blood, why does he need Ruby??
I guess there aren't that many demons who would willingly share their blood with Sam. It's easier using Ruby than going after other demons. I do wonder though ... where is she??? Obviously, Sam hasn't been in contact with her for a while, she's not returning his calls. What's up with that?

True. I hadn't thought of it that way.
I do wonder though ... where is she???
I'm betting she's around. Sam is totally reliant on her--she has all the power now.
So, even though I said I was going to stop thinking, I had another absolutely crazy thought. Do you think that part of what makes Dean so special to the angels--the fact that Cas was under the impression that Dean would be able to hear him--is because ****Dean was fed angel blood as a baby. I mean, if demons can give their blood, why can't angels? Maybe heaven knew the YED was up to something, knew the whole 10-yr time thing, and decided to put their own players into the game, to be called up when/if they needed them. Maybe they somehow knew who Mary was back then, knew about the deal, and watched her, and when Dean was born, they decided to make the first move?**** I don't know, like I said, it's pretty far out there. I was out and about all day, and sometimes I just let my mind wander. I really need to stop doing that. ;D

No, don't stop! Discussing theories is so much fun If Dean had been fed Angel's blood, he should have been able to hear Castiel in his true form, shouldn't he? Also, I don't think angels plan that way. They (or at least Uriel) were ready to destroy a whole town to stop Samhain; I think if they had known that early that Dean would start the apocalypse or that Sam would become that powerful, they would have killed them immediately. Castiel said that Jimmy could hear him because he was special, didn't he? Did he mention blood? Maybe it has to do with a certain blood line, maybe Jimmy is a descendant from someone special? Have you seen "The Da Vinci Code"? They talked about Jesus' descendants. Now, I'm not saying Jesus was Jimmy's ancestor, but maybe some other biblical figure? The bible is full with people who could hear angels, isn't it?

Yeah, but I was thinking more along the lines that they didn't really know what the plan was, just that something big might happen, so they did certain things to be ready, just in case (if that makes sense).
I think if they had known that early that Dean would start the apocalypse or that Sam would become that powerful, they would have killed them immediately.
Well, Cas did say as soon they realized that Dean was in hell, they did try to break him out, they were just too late. And, they have also said that don't really know what the end plan was for Sam from the YED. Maybe there are watching him and letting him make his own choices, but are ready to stop him before it gets too far; although, I think they will be too late for that, too, as I think that ****the last seal may have something to do with Sam and Lilith, maybe even Sam kiling Lilith, and what if they are too late???***
Maybe it has to do with a certain blood line, maybe Jimmy is a descendant from someone special? Have you seen "The Da Vinci Code"?
No, I haven't seen the movie (it's on my list, though!), but I also had the same thought about the blood-line thing, especially when Cas, as Claire, made some comment to that effect. But if Dean were decended from some special line, wouldn't Sam? How or why would the demons be able to get the blood into him if he were already connected to the angels? Because of Mary's deal? Maybe Mary did something special--said some special prayer or some special blessing or something; maybe even another freaking deal with the angels--to Dean, knowing that the YED was going to show up again? Dean did say she always told him that "angels were watching over him." Did she know something? It sounds a little far-fetched as I type it, though.
I don't know. Thanks for listening to me ramble, though. As long as the next two weeks are going to seem until we get to the finale, the summer hiatus will even be longer!!!!!

Lillith said something about that she had to die before Lucifer could rise. That would be awesome. Dean was the first seal, Sam the last but if Dean were decended from some special line, wouldn't Sam?Oh, no, I meant, Jimmy came from a special line, not Dean. Dean couldn't hear Castiel in his true form, that's why that's not really possible, I think. As long as the next two weeks are going to seem until we get to the finale, the summer hiatus will even be longer!!!!!Oh dear, I don't even want to think about the hiatus. I REALLY hope they don't end this season with another cliffhanger!!!
