from cwtv.com:
Sam and Dean investigate a small town where the wishing well really works. A teddy bear comes to life, someone wins the lottery and the town geek gets a hot girlfriend. The brothers realize that while everyone is happy now, the end result will be disastrous.
Robert Singer directed the episode written by Ben Edlund.
Air Date: October 6th, 2008

I didn't want to post this in the title of the thread because I read it somewhere (don't have the link handy) so I don't know if it's correct or not, but I read that the title of this one is...
*"Teddy Bear"*
(blacked oout because I don't know if title's are considered spoilers ;D)

Seriously? Okay, I'm seriously starting to suspect someone is leaking these titles to make fun of us LOL
I don't see titles as spoilers.

The more I hear about Kripke the more I think that back in High School he was a smart ass, nerdy kid that would make fun of the teacher.
Less than two weeks! Yay!

Women, showers. Let's go! Run Forrest! There's a big foot out there dammit and he's an sob! Harry and the Henderson's? My cousin loves that movie. "Close the friggin door!" Best Faces ever. That may or may not have been the single most odd scene in Supernatural so far. Flaming pissed off teddy. Lollipop Disease. Lillith's head on a plate, bloody. Woah, Sammy. Put on some pants, and stay visible. Teddy commits suicide and stuffing comes out. I think I'm in love with DepressTed. Kneel before Tod! Kneel! Sam died, again. Well smited. Dang you random bolts of lightning! Stuffing taped to back on teddy's head... Anyone having flash backs to the whole Sam and demon blood explanation thing? I can't make you understand. Isn't that like exactly what Sam said? Weird...

You know, I was kind of worried about this one. I was afriad it was going to be another totally funny episode, so I was pleasantly surprised when there was humor and seriousness. --"Run, Forest, run!" cracked me up, mainly because Shawn says this quite often. --I couldn't belive they made a David Duchovny joke! --the teddy bear cracked me up! Seriously! And the looks the boys gave each other. They were so funny in that scene, and I loved when Sam asked Dean if they should kill it. I can't believe that Jared doesn't think he's good at comedy--his facial expressions were priceless! --Dean and the drinking--wow, he was putting some away. And then when he stole the liquor, which leads me to... --how much do I love that Sam has noticed Dean's nightmares and drinking, and that he's in tune with is brother enough to kow that Dean is remembering hell! --I loved when Sam told the chick in the beginning that the working title for his book was "Supernatural!" --And, after last week where I got irritated with how Sam seemed to know everything and Dean seemed dumb, I loved that Dean showed he knew some stuff in this one. Actually, both boys did, which shows me that they can write both boys as being the "exposition fairy" without having one with all the questions and one with all the answers! I liked that both boys seemed smart and capable. --The kid that flipped the car was scary, but I loved how in the end, Dean acred scared of him so the other kids would leave him alone. --Sammy died again!!!!!!!! --The confession--okay, I have to say, I love that Dean was able to use the same words on Sam that Sam used on Dean not so long ago, "You don't understand." I do have to say, I was surprised that he said he remembered everything, though. He must be a pretty strong guy if he can remember everything about 40 years of hell and still be able to function properly (guess that's where the drinking comes in). Of course, we all know that Dean is a master at repression, and I do have to wonder if he really does remember everything, or he just think he does. I really wasn't expecting the confession at the end at all, and I'm also not surprised he told Sam he wasn't going to talk to him about it. Who would want to talk about that, anyways? And, Jensen totally rocked that scene, and Jared's facial reactions were spot on! --So, at the beginning, Sam is pushing Dean about hell (while watching him take shot after shot; and, BTW, that annoying waiter made me laugh!). I liked that they brought in last week's episode, but where was the conversation about Sam using his powers? --The conversation on the car about wishes and how life is miserable--poor boys! I just wanted to hug them! As much as I liked this one (and I plan on rewatching, mainly because I think Shawn is going to get a kick out of this one, and I always rewatch with him to see how he reacts), I'm kind of getting tired of the funny. I'm ready for some seriousness to come back. ETA--When Sam tells Dean his wish wouldn't be the whole white picket fence thing but to have Lilith's bloody head on a plate--wow! Lilith better watch out!

I feel cheated. I don’t like it when I can throw my fic and my concepts to trash. There are quite a few concepts that do not fit the storyline any more, but okay, I can weave it around. What pissed me off, really, is that Jensen made me believe Dean didn’t remember Hell. And okay, it’s not his fault, because when filming earlier episodes he knew what he had in a script and the script said he didn’t remember, but why does he have to act so convincingly? (So I would fall madly in love? 0_0 ) Anyway, I was convinced the memories would return, and then they up and tell me the memories WERE THERE all the damn time! Need to wrap my head around it. [Off to write a fic]

Yeah, but I wonder when they truly come back (although I'm not convinced he remembers everything; he may think he does, but I'm wondering if there's more still to come). I mean, I wonder if he remembered hell right away, or if it slowly came back to him, then hit him full force during "Yellow Fever," especially since at the end he was seeing Lilith. Maybe that's when they really came back?

Well, maybe. That's one explanation, though it was not made all that clear either. Do you think I may have to re-watch the last three episodes?

I liked this one, but like Mick I'm ready for some real angsty stuff again. But that's coming next week, I think, so things are good. Of course, I'll have to wait a while to see it (Yor, you'll tape it for me, right? ) I loved the Teddybear! And the scene with Dean and the kid; it was too cute when he helped him out in the end I was surprised to learn that Dean remembered hell all along; I really hadn't expected this. I had been waiting for it to come back to him and totally throw him over. Remembering 40 years of hell and acting like he does makes him a really, really strong person!

See, I read it differently. I don't necessarily believe that he's allowing himself to really acknowledge all that happened... or, I dunno, but I didn't care for the last scene.
I almost felt Dean was being, kinda... well... Arrogant??? Maybe that's not the right term? But something about the scene and his attitude bugged me...
"I went through horrible things, but I don't have to tell you because I'm Dean and I don't have to or can't or... " I dunno, I just can't put my finger on what it was about it that nags at me.

I saw it more like: "I saw such horrible things and I can't tell you about it because I don't want you to know how bad, horrible, awful a place there is. I want you to stay in the dark and keep your innocence and not be afraid every time you close your eyes."
