Yes, rec'ed means recommended. At least I hope so .... I might just have made up a new abbreviation LOL I immediately ignore all stories that invole other female hunters. Or sisters. Or Winchest. Or mysterious women that one of the boys immediately falls in love with and can not live without anymore. Or stories in which Dean likes to ride a pony because it's so cute on his last day before going to hell ... oh wait, I actually started reading that one It's really amazing how completely out of character the boys sometimes get written. But there are still awesome stories out there, so it's worth stumbling over the bad ones.

I suck at abbreviations and anagrams. It took me ten minutes to figure out lmao when I first saw it. I remember reading a fic where Sam was assaulted by his teacher in high school and recorded with his mp3 player as evidence. Now I may be wrong, but when the boys were in high school were mp3 players even around?
Oh and Sil, your fic Sacrifices lead me to find this board, and it was so awesome I favorited it and added it to my C2 archive. (An archive for evil!sam, if you didn't already guess.) And that has 9 subscribers so I rec'ed it to 9 people one of them reviewed after I added it, not much, but it's something right?

Exactly, Malo... At BEST he would have possibly had a diskman... I pointed this out to an author recently, in private... Her reply... "This is fiction." I wanted to email back, "BAD fiction." However, it seems the blind masses don't care. I don't need to have Pulitzer Prize winning talent, but I would like to know a little thought went into the story!

Lol, Wikipedia is fanfictions's best friend, Google is a close one too. A couple clicks facts and spelling are checked, quite simple. Grammar is a little tougher, so I'm go easier on them.

As for your questions, no, there are no women (well, I don't know about guest stars, but not anything about one of the boys falling in love) and it's not the people coming back one, either. I'll leave a few spaces for spoilers...
SPOILER!
SPOILER!!
SPOILER!!!
It's about a "ghost" sickness, where the person infected by the ghost experiences extreme fear/paranoia which eventually kills them.

That's what I thought, as a serious guess, not a "I wish the episode would be this." Hey, Mick why don't you do the spoilers in black so that people who don't want to be spoiled won't read it on accident, you would have to highlight it to read it. Like : Spoiler Insert Spoiler Here Spoiler. Not that I mind, I love being spoiled.

Hey, Mick why don't you do the spoilers in black
Good idea (and so changed).
I was so tired last night after the long and busy weekend, I just didn't think about it. Thanks!

Dang ... before you turned it black I could have blamed you for spoilering me, Mick! Kitty, I saw that you put my story in there. Thanks As for missing research in stories, I agree with you. How hard can it be? I find it to be quite fun sometimes to research stuff for stories. You know what you're writing about and the story feels more real when you have the right facts in it. ETA: That episodes sounds VERY exciting!

Found this over at TWOP--someone said it's the CW's official description of the episode. I'll go ahead amd black it out, though, especially because of the last line, which, honestly, has be a little confused (but, then, it could just be an oversight on the side of whoever wrote this):
*****"DEAN IS INFECTED BY A GHOST DISEASE - Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) investigate the mysterious deaths of several men who apparently dropped dead of fright. They visit one of the victims in the morgue, and Dean becomes infected with the illness which starts as a general anxiety, then moves on to full-blown terror that eventually stops the heart. Sam and Bobby (Jim Beaver) must find the root of the disease before Dean dies and is sent back to Hell."*****

Huh? Okay, that last line is definitely weird.

Very weird. I'm wondering if it's just worded funny, and it's more that *****since Dean has the sickness, it's his fear that he will go back to hell, not that he actually will (does that make sense?).*****

Yes, that makes sense. And I hope that that's what they meant.

I'm going to go with your interpretation too, Mick.
Maybe we'll get to see some hellish memories resurfacing. 0_0

Okay, I really don't know what this isbviously a scene from an episode. At then end, it gives the date of 10/23, which, if they keep to the same schedule, I think should be this episode (which is why I posted it here). The few seconds it lasted made me laugh, even though I have n oidea what the context of this is in relation to this episode. Make sense??? www.sfuniverse.com/2008/10/10/a-supernatural-surprise/

OKay, I just read that the clip I posted above is a peak at some surprise that Kripke and Co have for us after the episode airs.
Kind of has me wishing it was already the 23rd...
