from cwtv.com:
Sam and Dean investigate the mysterious deaths of several men who apparently dropped dead of fright. They visit one of the victims in the morgue, and Dean becomes infected with the illness which starts as a general anxiety, then moves on to full-blown terror that eventually stops the heart.
Sam and Bobby must find the root of the disease before Dean dies and is sent back to Hell.
Phil Sgriccia directed the episode written by Andrew Dabb & Daniel Loflin.

Well, ok, that's a curious title...

When the sides for this came out, it was actually under a different name. I'll space in case the original title tells more than you want to know...
It was originally listed as "Phobia," but it was spelled weird (like "Phoebia," or something like that; I read where someone said it was the Latin or medical spelling of the word).
I've also read some about this episode (and I have to laugh sometimes). There are some fans already, I don't know what word to use, freaking out? upset? about a set of sides that will probably be a matter of minutes in the show! Of course, I've found this to be true about almost every episode for season 4 so far. It really cracks me up!

Are there women involved? The fans are always freaking out when there are women *grin
I read that the title was changed from "Phobia" (or whatever it's spelled) to "Yellow Fever".

Is this the episode where all the "people" come back?

When I think Yellow Fever I think Sam (or Dean) seeing the Yellow Eyed Demon everywhere they looked and just passing off as a hallucination until it gets to a point where he has to tell his brother about it. Then they have to find out whether it is actually an hallucination or if YED is actually back.
Though, that's probably not it. Especially if the original title was Phobia. Is it September 18th yet?

Kitty, that sounds like a great fic idea

Would you like to use it? I can't write to save my life. I've tried and never had the attention span to finish anything that wasn't a one-shot.

I have so many ideas waiting to be written, I'd never find the time. But if I ever run out of ideas, I might come back to it.

Yeah, I find it much more fun to read fanfiction than to write it. 295 story alerts baby! Keep in mind that I'm too lazy to take completed ones off, and half are probably dead.

295 alerts? Congrats... I must be looking in the wrong places... Gads... All I seem to find is crap, plotless 'unrealistic hurt the boys for fun', let's not pay attention to who the characters are and just write sh*t, stories... I've been VERY disgusted by a lot of the fic out there... "Hey, let's give the boys cell phones with the internet in 1989... It's just fiction... it doesn't have to have any logic or sense!" Then again, who has the time to read anyway, right?

I SO know what you mean, Yor! I even stopped looking at ff.net and only read from the authors I already know (I guess that's the reason it's so tough when you come to the fandom as a new writer) or stories that have been rec'ced on livejournal.
Btw, have I mentioned that one of my stories got rec'ed some time ago? A reviewer told me so *looks slightly proud*

Maybe you guys have just have higher standards then me. I have to say though if I see another "Hot Huntress that listens to mullet rock and has a muscle car meets the Winchesters! DeanxOC" I'm going to barf. I also don't like when they make their own characters the center to the plot. I think I already have a full sized rant about this on my ff.net account, heh.
rec'ed = recommended?

Silke, of COURSE your stories should be rec-ed. THEY RULE! (Gratuliere!)
