Yor: I like the idea of him keeping it secret and there was no one to witness it, so... but why?
Sil: He's done it before. He didn't tell Dean about the nightmares/visions until he had to. I think he's afraid that they're going to look at him differently when they find out.
Did Sam tell Dean about the fact that all their mother's friends were killed? There was also something the YED showed him in AHBL1, something about blood. I think Sam kept both those things to himself, but I'm not sure. Could you correct me if I'm wrong?

I'm not sure sure about the friends, but yeah, he never told Dean about what the YED told him. Also, he kept the part with Lillith being after him from Dean as well.
Man, Sam needs to share!!! LOL

All that stuff with The Deal was a good excuse for Sam to "not bother Dean with the silliness", right? When did Sam find out about Lilith being after him? Dean found out in Jus in Bello, but Sam? Also, what does it all have to do with the thread tittle? ;D

No, I don't think Sam ever told Dean about their mother's friends (unless he did it off screen). Yes, Yor, all that stuff gets me excited and wanting to know how I can get a job where I can get the episodes in advanced! I just set my VCR to record Thursday night!!!!!!!

Ruby told him and I think it was in "Are the Kids all right"
Also, what does it all have to do with the thread tittle?
It proves how excited we all are to finally see this episode *grin*

"Hey, Dean before you went to hell there were somethings I never told you." "Like what, Sammy?" "Well when I was a baby, Yellow Eyes fed me his blood over my crib, so I think I might not be entirely human. Oh, Mom knew the demon apparently, she said sorry too when we saw her as a ghost, but you were there for that, right? All of mom's friends and pretty much everyone she knew when she was pregnant with me was murdered. Also Lilith couldn't kill me when she tried, you know? In the house where you were killed by the hell hounds. She seemed scared about that too, like she really didn't expect it. Oh, one last thing, this isn't really important, but I may or may not be the anti-christ. " Most. Awkward. Conversation. Ever. Probably even more so than the 'Birds and Bees' talk. Can't fudge'n wait for Thursday.

Let me be the first to say Dang you Kripke! It answered a few questions, but opened a heck of a lot more. You Shook Me All Night Long by ACDC at the beginning was awesome. Since the episode aired it's no longer spoiler, yes? So Sam the I want a normal, God loving, person with a white picket fence and 2.5 kids, is suspected of being the anti-christ and has finally embraced his powers. Meanwhile, Dean the sex loving, faithless Rock n' Roller is resurrected from hell to do God's work. The Winchester's really are a screwed up family.

Hmmm... OK... So my first reaction, as it has been since the clip was revealed, Dean climbing out of the grave was a rip off of Buffy. Sorry, but since it was done on a similar genre show, I wish they'd found some other way. Second reaction... DAMN I REALLY have to give more props to JP's acting expression in the reunion scene than JA... Not that he was bad, but DAMN... When he can't look Dean in the eyes as he begs for forgiveness for not being able to save him? ARRRGGHHH Thirdly... Unexpected ouch of heartache... Bobby and the drinking and admitting it's been hard. Fourth... Dean and Sam riding in the car. Dean's hostility reminded me of early season one when I wanted to smack him! HOWEVER, I LOVED the intensity of the emotion from both of them in the scene. Can we say TENSION? Saright with me. What I don't like? Castiel (who ain't bad to look at either. Was anyone else wishing JB had gotten this role? I kept seeing him.) revealing SO QUICKLY that Dean was supposed to do God's work. I wish he'd have drawn that out. I knew Sam had to go this route. I'm fine with it. He did not exactly ask to use it. It came over him from Lilith (IMO), once it's there, he can't really ignore it. Ok... that's my initial thoughts. I'm watching again.

ok, have to add... I'm having a hard time believing Bobby could really best Sam in a fight. (He drags Bobby off Dean?)

Is it Thursday yet? Or rather a Friday morning... Oh, it is, sorry. Next week please. I'll say a few later, now I gotta start the day. --- Started the day, and you are all still sleeping or what? Anyway, ETA: First thought: what I feared would happen – happened. I’m probably going to have to switch sides. From Dean to Sam I mean. Sorry AL. I feared this from the beginning, when I had them doubts, which boy to chose. Of course Supernatural is all about equilibrium, and I trust in Kirpke and both J’s that it will stay that way. But as I mentioned (did I?) when I started watching – it was a Sammy show, but Ackles totally stole the screen in the early episodes. Now I have to give justice to JP, that his acting skills caught up with JA’s somewhere toward the end of the first season, and now they are truly equals in that regard. At the same time Dean got interesting storylines and the truth is “what I feared would happen – happened” a season ago. But since watching 3rd season was such a blast for me (a week, no more than that, and the second half in three days, seriously) – I had no time to overanalyze stuff. Now I do, because next Friday is oh-so-far-away. What was that thing I feared? Dean became front and center, and Sam’s storyline got pushed to the back. Now with season four premise even further. Third season was all about Dean’s deal, and I didn’t mind in the slightest, but now, that I look back (and through this fanfic I’m writing ;D), I’m starting to get more inclined toward Sam, because he’s becoming my ever-favorite secondary primary character. Have to get to BSG for a moment here. In the pilot there were Apollo and Starbuck, right? (and we even liked Starbuck back then...), and they were more-or less equals. But RDM fell in love with KS acting skills (honestly speaking, she did have some outstanding scenes, she started overacting later), and made the show all about her, all with Special Destiny and even wanting to make her the Pegasus Commander (ough). Now I know that Apollo being male and Starbuck being female factors into my liking Him more than Her, but it’s not only that. If Apollo was the most important in the world, I’d probably fall for some Helo, Tyrol or – who knows – maybe even Starbuck. And now I really, REALLY hope Dean will not become what Starbuck did, what with the tying him up to the mythology of the show, and the “work they have for him”. Why I have those fears? – because there was too little Sam. Okay, I know that having Dean back was such an important thing, and they had to have things explained, they had to set the plot up, but what hit me like a proverbial train, was Sam driving away to get on with those demons in the bar. He had been through SO MUCH these past four months, and we barely scratched it! It was all “OMG Dean was in Hell, OMG now he’s back.” Really, brief scenes like that get to me like a ten times more than all the hammering the news home. Okay, I know SPN will not become a Dean-show. Right? It will not. What else hit me? The seans. OMG that was so awful what happened to that girl! There was something I though I didn not understand though. At the beginning she talks to Castiel, and tells him something what I understood as “don’t interrupt; I have to do this.” Like she knew him from somewhere. I thought she was summoning someone else, and then at the end Castiel said that her eyes bled out because she saw his face. Now what’s the deal with that? Or do I need to re-watch it? One thing that puts SPN a level higher than BSG for me is the humor of this show. It’s dark, it’s terryfying, but it has those funny moments that BSG so desperatelly lacks. When Dean saw the I-pod? And then when the music started to play? Gads that was hysterical! Among other things. I’m not sure what I think about Angels. I’d rather Angels were those unbelievably GOOD creatures, so GOOD, that the demons fear that goodness, and perish at the sight of it. I don’t want the Angels to be bad-a$$. And those black wings gave me chills. Oh, one more thing. When Sam sent that demon to Hell. I so knew he was going to do it all-psychic, but when she started choking and throwing up that blackness, I though it was because of that damage in her that whatever eyes-bleeder (Casiel, right?) did. But form Sam’s and Ruby’s (RUBY???!!!) reactions I gather that’s the way it usually happens when Sam is involved. Yyyyick. And did I mention... Ruby???!!! Uh, that was long. PS. YES! AL, Castiel totally should be played by JB. That would be SOOO AWESOME!
