At the end of this season, I want to look back and say, "wow, that was AWESOME! I thought it was rather dumb when I first saw it, but it was pretty brilliant, as usual!" Because, right now I don't like what I see. What's wrong with Sam??? I know it's not bad acting. Bad writing maybe? Or is there some totally logic, awesome reason for Sam being so cold? It can't be because of his time in hell, since he hasn't been there for very long, if at all. Some after affect of being Lucifer's vessel maybe? Part of the devil is still in him? He's fighting so hard to stay in control that he doesn't have time for any other emotions? I read this one great idea (I think it was Xwacky's) that Sam never was in hell, but that his soul got pulled to heaven, just not normal heaven, but the part where Castiel and Anna ended up when the angels took them to "make them right" again. Maybe that's it? The angels made sure Sam wouldn't be hindered by human emotions so that he could do their job? I still don't like the cousins. Do we need them? Really??? I'm slightly curious who Grandpa Campbell was talking to, but all in all, I could do without all these new family members. So far, they're only annoying. And why the heck did the Angels got Samuel back from heaven and not John??? (I know, I know. JDM is busy and all, but still .... ). As for Dean, I wish they would have let him be an asshole for once and leave Lisa. He doesn't have to be perfect! Really!!!! I like Lisa for letting him leave and go hunting and promising she'll wait for him at home, but I would have liked it better if Dean had just left.

I really liked this episode. I do believe something is not quite right with Sam and hopefully we will find out soon. I guess having Lucifer in you for any amount of time would change you. Perhaps Sam is just putting up walls for now. I just loved seeing Dean interact with the baby(s?). He just seemed so natural at it. Dean seams to truly love his family and I would find it out of character for him to up and leave Lisa and Ben, considering what family means to him. I think he eventually will because he'll think he's a liability to them. I see it more likely that Lisa will get tired of it and really kick Dean to the road. I still think the cousins and Samuel are definitely up to no good. I just hope Sam is not in with them. Here's looking forward to the next ep.
