So I had to do I writing thing for English where we had to pick a new name and explain why we chose it. So I go online, google name meanings, get a site devoted for such things and the first thing I search for the meaning of the name to be evil. (Not for me, just being curious.) So the names on the results that pop out to me are Azazel and Lilith. LILITH Derived from Assyrian lilitu meaning "of the night". This was the name of a demon in ancient Assyrian myths. In Jewish and Islamic tradition she was Adam's first wife, sent out of Eden and replaced by Eve because she would not submit to him. The offspring of Adam and Lilith were the evil spirits of the world. Azazel Means "scapegoat" in Hebrew. This was the name of the recipient of a sacrificial goat in the Old Testament. The identity of Azazel is not clear; it may in fact be the name of the place where the goat is to be sacrificed, or it may be the name of some sort of evil desert demon. So you probably already knew the meanings or heck that site might not even be accurate in the meaning, but I found it interesting. Oh, and the site is www.behindthename.com

I didn't know this. Interesting!
And thanks for the link. Might come in handy when I look for a character name for a story.

I knew a little about Lilith from reading other boards, but I didn't know anything about Azazel. Interesting.

Umm... I picked Liadan, which means "grey lady" in Irish Gaelic. In Irish legend she was a poetess who became a nun, but then missed her lover Cuirithir so much that she died of grief. The assignment was to kind of mimic the style of a book and write about our name. It's not a very happy book...
