There's a ghost at this site? My computer overhaul has been AWESOME! I feel like I'm fairly caught up in the world of technology, except for one thing. FOUR times now, whenever I've come to this site (and so far, only this site) the computer has completely died! It freezes up and not even control, alt, delete does anything. My bro's answer? "Don't go to that site!" I informed him it wasn't an option and he'd better find a solution NOW! Any thoughts from out there?

Crap! That stinks! I have no clue as to why. Maybe you should call the computer guy who tried to "fix" the computer before Mark? ;D

Ironically, it seems to happen when I pass my mouse over the upper portion of the page...
Why am I cursed?

Okay, I'm searching the support forum for a solution at the moment.
So far, I found this:
I login fine, but when I click a link it logs me out!
Your browser is not accepting cookies properly. First check to make sure you have cookies enabled. Also, in Internet Explorer 6 you need to make sure that you have 3rd Party Cookies enabled.
Your members need to enable cookies, tell them to do the following:
* Click on tools on the menubar on your browser * Click on Internet Options on the drop menu * On the window that pops up, click on the privacy tab * Put the arrow and track so that the arrow is on low * Click ok
This will enable third party cookies:
* Click on tools on the menubar on your browser * Click on Internet Options on the drop menu * On the window that pops up, click on the security tab * Click on the custom button * On the little window that pops up, scroll down to where it says cookies, and make sure the radio button is in the enabled position * Click save
In Firefox:
tools >> options >> privacy >>
look for the 'cookies' section. Make sure it has 'accept all' ticked, and then click on 'exceptions' and make sure your proboard url isn't in there.
Hint from Ryan If the above didn't work try selecting "forever" when you attempt to log in.
It's not the same problem, but maybe this might help too?
I'll keep looking.

I couldn't find anything else, but I asked for help, so hopefully someone there has an idea what the cause is.

I don't think it's a cookie issue, BUT it is a start. Thank you SO much for checking into it!

I wonder if it's the browser you're using?

Does he have an idea what to do against that?
I got another tip in the forum. I took out the news fader. Let me know if the problems stops now. They couldn't find anything wrong in my header, so they don't know what the problem could be.
Does anyone else has problems too?
