From cwtv.com:
After a construction worker is killed by insects burrowing into his brain, Sam and Dean investigate the town's history and find that the new housing development is being built on sacred Indian land. The Indians put a curse on the land after their reservation had been ravished and destroyed. Sam and Dean must find a way to survive and kill the deadly swarm of bees, locusts, spiders and beetles.
The episode was written by Rachel Nave & Bill Coakley and directed by Kim Manners.

If I'm not supposed to post anything here, please forgive me and delete the post.
I'm watching this episode and I HATE IT! Not the episode itself, but the BUGS! I'm itching all over and feel like things are crawling on me. Blech!

Jensensbabe, you can post here wherever you want to It's one of the episodes I don't like very much either. First there are the bugs ... eww!!! That spider scene in the shower totally creeped me out. And there were some major plot holes, IMO.

Oh yes, the steam shower was awesome!
And the Sam/Dean tension was something special too, that's true. That's the great thing (among many others) about SPN - even the not so good episodes have so many wonderful scenes that you watch them again and again no matter how bad the actual story might have been.

even the not so good episodes
For me, these types of episodes are saved mostly because of JA and JP!

Honestly, any time I watch a repeat episode (which is all now), I skip all the Supernatural stuff and only watch the scenes with the boys.

This really is one bad episode ... but the 'You watch Oprah' scene is just priceless
