Saw this episode for the first time last night and wow. Honestly didn't care about the actual SPN stuff as much as my guy. Poor Dean...at the end when he tells Sam he's scared . And of course, typical Dean has to make the moment funny when he mocks Sam for saying "Me too". I don't know if I can watch the season finale again when it comes on. Too painful!

It was a painful episode to watch. Poor Dean, he wants nothing more than to see his Dad again and then this happens ...

Yeah, the Dean/John stuff got to me--it makes me want to see more about their relationship.
I went to bed early last night (stupid summer cold) with the TV on, and I woke up to this episode. I heard more than I saw, and I realised that, while the Dean stuff was good and the Sam stuff, I didn't like that they weren't "together" in this one. It almost felt like two different shows (or it could have been the cold talking!).

While I missed the closeness between the brothers, it kinda fit with were they were standing at the time.
Sorry to hear about your cold. Get well soon.

Sam and Dean didn't 'steam' that cold away? Bummer... I always thought it was fitting they weren't together. My man has to get used to being alone...
