from cwtv.com:
Sam and Dean capture a female vampire named Lucy (guest star Mercedes McNab) who claims to have no knowledge of how she became a vampire. The guys discover Dixon (guest star Matthew Humphreys), a male vampire, is giving out human blood to unsuspecting females in bars, offering it up as the "latest drug" and turning them all into vampires.
Meanwhile, Gordon (guest star Sterling K. Brown) escapes from jail and goes after Sam. However, Dixon intercepts Gordon and turns him into a vampire, which makes Gordon more powerful than before and a much bigger threat to Sam.
Kim Manners directed the episode written by Sera Gamble.

It gives me shivers just thinking about it. ScarySam is the most scary thing on the show, if you ask me!

As I watched this epi for the first time last night, I thought, "Man, somthing is different about Sam." I just couldn't put my finger on it. There were some lovely brother moments. Sam confronting Dean about being terrified and the end when Dean was showing Sam how to fix the car. I'm glad Gordon is gone. Poetic justice that he became a vampire, eh?

Oh, I forgot that this was the episode where they fix the car. That scene is so painful in such a wonderful way ...

I hated writing in this episode. Well, some of it anyway. I think it had some weakest spots of the whole show (what btw speaks volumes about the quality of writing for the show, because it was still awesome). That speech the Vampire gave to Dean was such hammering home the message of how lonely Dean felt and what were the reasons for his decision to sacrifice himself and bring Sam back. I mean c'mon! we already knew that! And I believe Sam knew that too, because he's a bright kid; he didn't need a vampire to tell him how much his brother loves him through the said vampire's tale of loneliness. Please.
The brothers scenes were amazing though. The car-repair scene said WITHOUT WORD about the tragedy of the boys' situation. Dean? Showing Sam how to care for the Impala? It's much more powerful than all the speeches.
