My wise friend Helen suggested that we won't make any resolutions this year. I hardly know a person who ever stucks with their resolutions and if they don't, it makes them feel bad. I for one can say that I broke each and every resolution I made for this year. I'll repeat here what Helen told me, because I couldn't have said it any better: Making these kinds of promises just puts too much pressure on you, IMHO. Not that you shouldn't have goals, but I think the important thing is to have an epiphany at some point and work from there, instead of trying so hard in the first few months of the year and then getting discouraged. I fully agree! So, instead of making ourselves feel bad, we decided to create a new club: The club of people-who-don't-make-resolutions-because-they're-that-cool (http://silwyna.livejournal.com/24717.html?view=21645#t21645) Sounds interesting to you? Feel free to join us )

well fiddlesticks... I've NEVER made a resolution in my life... (at least related to New Years) and I thought I might try it this year...
But, I'll join the club instead.

Very wise decision. You've achieved so many goals in your life already, don't destroy this by making resolutions ... they only complicate things.
