My main thought on this one--if I overlook all the plot holes and inconsistencies and just watch it, it's not that bad. I had a few laughs, and if I needed a laugh this would be one where I could go back and watch certain scenes, but that's about it.

I enjoyed it. I loved it when Sam's pissiness in answering Gary's mom while up in the bedroom. Did you noticed how Dean seemed to be the one yearning for "normal" here, while Sam has completely written normal off? I will admit I didn't see the whole Dean on a hit list from the demons coming! That kinda took me by surprise. Poor Dean.

I liked the episode, I thought Gary as/in Sam was hilarious! Hell having a bounty on Dean and telling humans about it was strange, but I decided to just overlook that. I have to admit, when the demon showed up and realized that Sam wasn't in his body anymore, I wondered for a moment if this would be how the devil would be able to take over Sam's body. It would be kinda cheap, but it would bring EvilSam back without it actually being Sam. I could have lived with that Jared's acting was awesome! He really should do something with comedy when Supernatural is over (which hopefully will take at least another year!).

Okay--so what happened to the dead kid in the basement? Did they just leave him there?

Yeah, I wondered about that too. No one seemed to even miss him!
Also, now that the body swap spell is out there, couldn't Lucifer just use it again in order to get Sam's body???

I saw this question brought up elsewhere, and I thought it was an interesting one, so I wanted to see what you guys thought. Since, according to what was said in the episode, that all Lucifer needs is Sam's body, does that mean that his soul is okay? In other words, what makes him special to Lucifer is just his meatsuit and not who he is? Does that make sense?

I think the hole in that theory is the fact Lucifer has to have Sam's permission to enter his body. He can't just take it. Remember he couldn't enter his current meat suit unless the guy told him yes. And that guy wasn't as special as Sam. No offense to Mr. Current Meat Suit...And, this is jmo, I think Lucifer wants every part of Sam, not just his body.
