It's been my experience with Amazon that when you pre-order you get your shipment earlier...plus you get free shipping!

Free shipping on anything over $25! (Unless you are buying it used...). The draw back is it is slower shipping, but you still get it earlier. Course now that I've bragged all over Amazon they'll screw it up.....

The amazon offer didn't say anything about earlier shipping (though I wouldn't complain about that LOL), but it does say free shipping

It's just been my experience with them. THEY have never said it would get there earlier....
Like I said, I'll brag about them and you guys will order through them and then the dvd's will be late! ;D

I've never pre-ordered anything. I'll let you know if I get them earlier *looks excited* Oh, and I just got some money back from the electricity company ... 86€. So theoretically, I don't have to pay anything extra for the DVD's AND, on a side not and totally off topic: It also covers the costs for my travel passpart which I need to enter the US

LOL... darn passports. I hadn't thought about that... With the EU you don't need a passport any more do you???
J'B, let me get this straight... You preorder and the DVD's (usually) arrive BEFORE on ON the date of release in the stores? This has been your experience in general?
(I only did it once, with HP and they specifically said it would arrive on release day.)

darn passports. I hadn't thought about that... With the EU you don't need a passport any more do you???No, we don't. Open borders for everyone At least in most countries. There are a few exceptions, but with those your usual passport is enough, you don't need an extra travel pass with special picture and fingerprints.
